Why Your Privacy is my TOP Priority as your Boudoir Photographer
Let's talk privacy.
There's some discourse happening in the boudoir community right now due to a comment a photographer made to the effect of "It's not smart to piss off the person who has your noods," insinuating that she would release a client’s nude images to 'get back at' her for non-payment. 🤦🏻♀️
No. Nononononooooo. That's not how this works, sweaty 😅
We do not threaten to blackmail our clients with revenge p*rn (a felony in most states) because *we* didn't have solid business policies in place and now we’re mad that we didn’t get paid on time.
In light of this, I just wanted to make a quick promise to each and every one of my past and future clients and that is that I would NEVER release or show your images to ANYONE without a full signed model release.
I am very serious about this. I understand the sensitive nature of what I do and take my clients' privacy and dignity VERY seriously, and I would never DREAM of violating anyone's trust like that.
Even if you do sign a model release but you don't want your identity revealed, that’s totally fine! It’s completely up to you. I have two versions of model releases:
The first is a full release, meaning that you approve me sharing your GORGEOUS images on my website, blogs, social media, and elsewhere;
The other is a partial model release, which means that you’re cool with me sharing images from your session as long as your face isn’t visible or recognizable in the photos.
You can also opt out completely, and choose not to sign any release, meaning your images stay between you and me and that is IT. I will never share them outside of your reveal appointment after your session with me.
Boudoir is such an intimate form of photography that can often put you as a client in a vulnerable position where trust in your photographer is imperative, so choosing a photographer that you are positive that you can trust is so so so important.
I just want you to know that I got you, and that that's a promise. 😘
Xoxo,
