I’m Karri. I’m a Body-Positive Boudoir Photographer based in Portland, Oregon.

I want to photograph you because I believe that EVERY body deserves to be celebrated and appreciated—and that includes YOU.

I have created a space at my cozy, in-home studio in Portland where I invite and encourage babes of all body shapes, sizes, & backgrounds to have the permission to leave your inner mean girl (you know, the one who tells you you’re not good enough) at the door, step into my sanctuary, and become totally and completely OBSESSED with yourself.

What is Boudoir?

Bou·doir noun (boo·DWAR)

An intimate portrait session with the intent of reinvigorating one’s love and appreciation for one’s own body.

The Experience

1. Hair & Makeup

What photoshoot would be complete without the pampering of professional hair and makeup? Our stylists are total rockstars and will work with you to bring your vision to life.

2. Photoshoot

The moment we’ve all been waiting for…but don’t worry, it’s not as intimidating as it might seem! I will pose you from head to toe, so there’s absolutely no pressure on you. We’re gonna have a blast—I promise.

3. Image Reveal

After your session, your images will be hand-retouched and ready for you to view in 48 hrs. Then you can come back in, we get to go through them together and ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ at how HOT you are!

My Promise to You

When it comes to your boudoir session, your comfort and confidence are my main focus. It is my top priority to ensure that during your boudoir session you feel totally safe, supported, and comfy throughout the entire experience.

Let's face it, being in front of any camera can be awkward and nerve-wracking, and now throw in the fact that you’re now being photographed…by a stranger…in your underwear (LOL!) and it can definitely take some guts!

But here's the deal: I guarantee we will only feel like strangers at first. At my cozy home boudoir studio in Portland, Oregon, we are all about keeping things relaxed, low-key, and lighthearted. I don’t wanna just be your boudoir photographer—I wanna be your hype girl, your cheerleader, and your hand to hold throughout this whole experience.

Shooting with me is kinda like going over to your bestie’s house for a makeover and pampering day…except you get to leave with the most amazing photos you’ve ever seen of yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Duh. We would be missing out on working with a whole hell of a lot of gorgeous babes if we didn’t. ;)

    We are a body-positive size-inclusive boudoir brand and we are here to help you celebrate your body as you are right NOW. There is no “perfect boudoir body,” and you do NOT have to try and lose weight before your session.

    We pose our plus size clients just like we do every other client, which means tailored to your comfortability and mobility levels and to highlight your favorite parts about your body.

  • Yes! This is my favorite part. You get to just roll out bed, roll on over to us, and not worry about a thing. We’ve got you covered. My hair and makeup artist is amazing and will find a look that will make you feel like a million bucks for your session.

  • Foxfire Boudoir is located in North Portland, Oregon. For our clients’ and our safety, the studio address is only shared with clients once their session is booked.

  • Because of limited space, we don’t allow guests in the studio. Also it can be REALLY awkward and nerve-wracking for our clients to have an audience, no matter how comfortable you are with someone, and can distract from the main event—YOU!

  • Absolutely! Boudoir is an investment in yourself, and we understand that not everyone has the funds up front to splurge, and that’s why we offer (and encourage!) flexible, in-house, interest-free payment plans that can be set up for either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payments.

  • We know you can’t wait weeks to see the finished product, and we’re not gonna make you! Photos will be fully retouched and ready for you to view at your Reveal & Ordering Session within 48 hours of your shoot.

    If you purchased an album, wall art, or other physical products, you can expect them to arrive approximately 2 weeks after ordering.

  • At this time we do not offer our services for male-identifying clients or to couples, but we are happy to recommend some wonderful studios who excel in this genre of boudoir.

  • No. We cannot capture depictions of anything considered erotica (sexual acts, self pleasure, BDSM, etc.), as our studio is not insured to create sexually-explicit content. We have no problem creating art with tasteful nudes, though if that’s your jam!

  • Only if you’re ok with it! After your session, you can choose to sign either a full or partial (anonymous) model release that gives us permission to share your gorgeous images on our website and social media, but this is absolutely not required. Your privacy is extremely important to us, and we would never share any of your images without your express permission.

  • Sure! If physical prints and products aren’t really your style, you can absolutely opt to purchase our—aptly-named—Digital Collection, which includes high resolution digital files of all of the finalized images from your session.
